Kareena having second thoughts about October wedding?

That seems to be the question on everyone’s mind about the impending wedding of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor.: Just a few days after the groom’s mother, actress Sharmila Tagore confirmed that the couple would be getting married finally on October 16 this year, comes the news that the bride, actress Kareena Kapoor is having second thoughts about walking down the aisle and saying ‘I do’. The actress has reportedly developed cold feet and is now apprehensive about her October wedding as she feels her career will be at jeopardy if she gets married. Bebo’s big release ‘Heroine’ is scheduled for September and she has also signed some big projects. In spite of producers showing keen interest in working with her, Bebo is perhaps perturbed by the fact that Sanjay Leela Bhansali dropped her from his ‘Ram Leela’ as he didn’t want a married actress playing the role of Juliet. Speaking to a tabloid, Sharmila Tagore admitted that the wedding wasn’t happening as per schedule. The actress did not reveal much detail as she has been asked by her son to not speak about the wedding till he and Kareena figure out the date themselves. A family friend revealed, "The wedding was indeed scheduled for October 16. The arrangements had begun. In fact, when Sharmilaji and Bebo were in London last month along with the rest of the family, they shopped for the wedding as well. The venue and the guest list were also finalised. But Bebo has second thoughts now." The friend also rubbished rumours that Sharmila had given the couple an ultimatum to get married this year. “Sharmilaji is a very non-interfering mom and, by extension, a hands-off mom-in-law. Reports that she has served Saif and Kareena an `ultimatum` to marry is completely false. She is the last person to persuade her children into taking any decision, especially one as serious as marriage. She has left the final decision to Saif and Kareena," said the friend. Reports also suggest that a dispute over the Pataudi family property could also be one of the reasons for the postponement of the wedding. At present, Saif’s sister Saba is the custodian of the Auqaf-e-Shahi (the royal wakf properties) but the extended family fears that Saif, who is a the Nawab of Pataudi, marrying a hindu- Kareena may not go down to well with certain people. Saif’s cousin Faiz Bing Jung had in fact stated, "The custodian of Auqaf-e-Shahi has to be a Muslim. We are apprehensive about the future." Meanwhile, when a daily contacted Saif and asked him about the wedding he said, I can’t confirm the date right now. Probably a couple of months down the line, I would speak to you about it.” While the bride chose to remain mum on the entire issue, a friend informed that the wedding may not take place this year at all! So would Bhansali reconsider his decision now?
