Allianz to open art facility at IT park

Thiruvananthapuram: To celebrate its first decade of opening shop at the Technopark IT campus here, Allianz will open an unique art installation - a fountain, a company official said Thursday.

`Future Alliance` is the state-of-the-art installation - a fountain that works purely on solar and human power. It will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Oommen Chandy Friday. The space around the fountain can accommodate over 200-250 people and can be an outdoor venue for techies at the park to come out and conduct open air meetings and innovation workshops. Rakesh Gupta, managing director of Allianz Trivandrum, said through this the firm wanted to develop a public space that provides inspiration for innovation. IANS
