A hardcore vegetarian in real life, Sonu features in the ad in a pair of low-slung jeans with a tag line - Strong Body. Tender Heart. Go Vegetarian. "I really thank PETA for making me a part of their family. I think we should bring that kind of awareness to everyone that we have to do something for animals - become vegetarians and do good to this Earth," Sonu, 37, said in a statement. Sonu, who played a villain opposite Salman Khan in last year`s superhit ‘Dabangg’, is the latest to join the list of celebrities like Lara Dutta, Pamela Anderson, Shahid Kapoor, Sir Paul McCartney, R. Madhavan and Anil Kumble who are promoting healthy and compassionate vegetarian diet. IANS
