Chris Martin drives away drunken fan

London: Coldplay front man Chris Martin had to chase away a drunk boy who was belting out the band’s hits in his front garden.

The celebrator had climbed a fence at the London home of Martin, who shares it with wife Gwyneth Paltrow and their two children. “I had a guy the other day who climbed over the gate of our house and started singing Coldplay songs to his friends on the street,” the Daily Star quoted him as saying. “I could hear him from the house. “He was under the influence of quite a few beverages but I had to step in after three or four songs and say: ‘Listen, you are not doing that right.’ “He politely left. “It was bordering on intrusion.” “Still, it’s nice that people like our songs,” he added.
