London: A nightmarish combination of a hectic workload, jetlag and lack of ‘beauty sleep’ is pushing Lady Gaga to exhaustion as she has performed flat-out across the globe this week.
After staying up for 24 hours straight to play for Hollywood glitterati in Cannes, the singer headed to the UK – and shocked fans with her gaunt appearance, reports the Mirror.
“I’m so weary, I just need a rest,” arriving at her London hotel, the star leaned on her bodyguard and croaked.
“Gaga looked incredibly drawn and pale. She’s been jetting all round the world – America and Mexico, France and now London this week alone,” an onlooker at The Lanesborough hotel in Hyde Park said.
The singer is staying with an entourage of 10, including her stylist Nicola Formichetti and three security guards. She requested that her 8,000 pound-a-night suite be draped in white, Egyptian sheets with wall-to-wall lilies.
