Liam Hemsworth says Miley Cyrus could beat him in ‘Hunger Games’

Washington: Liam Hemsworth feels he would probably be bested in a ‘Hunger Games’ duel by his own girlfriend Miley Cyrus.
According to the book on which the movie ‘Hunger Games’ is based, the games are an annual event in which one boy and one girl aged 12 to 18 living in a post-apocalyptic world are selected by lottery to compete in a televised battle in which only one person can survive.
Hemsworth was on the black carpet alongside Cyrus, 19, at Monday’s massive premiere of the movie in LA when he was asked who among the two would win a bout. “Probably her… She’s a tough girl, that one,” People magazine quoted him as saying. The Aussie actor also marvelled at the mania surrounding the film, which drew thousands of screaming fans to the premiere. “It’s like a good punch to the head,” he said. His older brother Chris, 28, who starred in last summer’s superhero blockbuster ‘Thor’, has experienced fan pandemonium in the past, and had already told him of the raucous scene to be expected. “My brother had somewhat been through it. “And he’s always been a big role model in my life. I try to take as much knowledge from him as I can,” the 22-year-old said. Meanwhile, the youngest star of the ‘Hunger Games’ - 13-year-old Amanda Stenberg - sought advice from the film’s Girl on Fire herself, Jennifer Lawrence. “I talked to Jen about [the mania]… And she was like, ‘Just be prepared. It is gonna be crazy.’ So she did give me a heads-up,” Stenberg said at the premiere. ANI
