Los Angeles: ‘Top Gun’ director Tony Scott, who committed suicide by jumping off a bridge, was laid to rest in a private funeral.

Tony, brother of well-known Hollywood director Ridley Scott, jumped to his death from a Los Angeles bridge Aug 19 at the age of 68. His family and friends bid him final adieu Friday, reports hollywoodreporter.com. However, the reason for Tony`s drastic step is still unknown. The Los Angeles County coroner`s office said it will be weeks before the results from Tony`s autopsy are available. IANS
