`Friends` reunion not in the works

Washington: NBC has said that contrary to rumours of the ‘Friends’ reunion, the cast will not be getting back together for the revival of the popular series.

The rumours about the reunion began months ago after ruminations of a Thanksgiving 2014 reunion special began and sent social media sites in frenzy, and really caught fire after a major Latin America news outlet reported that the NBC that hosted the TV show had confirmed a new full-season order of the sitcom, CBS News reported. But on Monday, ‘Friends’ co-creator Marta Kauffman told E! that the revival of the series was not happening. “‘Friends’ was about that time in your life when your friends are your family and once you have a family, there’s no need anymore,” she added.
