London: Director Quentin Tarantino, who has made films like `Pulp Fiction` and `Inglourious Basterds`, says he wants to retire from the movie business once he turns 60.
The 46-year-old director said he would step away from filmmaking after 60 and leave himself time to start a family, reported The Times.
"It`s a good age to stop making movies - I could start writing novels and film criticism and become a man of letters, and then I could finally have a family," he said.
Tarantino, who in the past has dated actress Mira Sorvino and the director Sofia Coppola, is currently single, but would like to be a father one day.
"There was a time, about five years ago, when I did have baby fever, that I wanted to have a child. Now I still want to be a father, but I don`t have baby fever. I want the work to be the most important thing," he said.
His upcoming film `Django Unchained` is set to release this month.
