Gurgaon: Composer Raju Singh, who has worked on the music of Bollywood musical ‘Jhumroo’, based on Kishore Kumar`s classic numbers, says the legendary singer`s melodies bring out the child in everyone.

"It`s been a pleasure to bring back the music of Kishore Kumar. I`ve grown up with all these songs, and whenever I sat down to work on them for `Jhumroo`, I realised I became a child," said Singh. The musical, packed with 19 Kishore Kumar songs, including ‘Ek ladki bheegi bhaagi si’, ‘Eena meena deeka’, ‘Saamne ye kaun aaya’, will be staged at Gurgaon-based live entertainment destination Kingdom of Dreams, Saturday onwards. After witnessing the response to the show during the media preview Thursday, Singh said: "Today I realised that his music brings out the child in each person." IANS
