We are back for the chase. The players are out in the middle. 

...The Chase...

Right then! The pitch is good enough to bat on. Not that bad at all. New Zealand will be aware of the inexperience India possess in the bowling line but should not take it lightly at all. They have to work hard to go in front in the series. Stay tuned for the chase.

New Zealand will feel they have let the game slip away a bit. A couple of partnerships have not helped them. First of all, they didn't start well, leaking many runs and not creating pressure. They bossed the middle phase but not for long as India repaired things up very quickly. Kane Williamson kept on shuffling his packs but only Lockie Ferguson stood out. He took three wickets and so did Tim Southee but he went for plenty of runs. 

Excellent recovery from India and a good finish help them get over the 300-mark. At one point, it looked difficult as the Kiwis had all control in the middle overs, India started really well with both openers notching a fifty, they gave a good start to carry on with the momentum but lost wickets in a flurry in the middle phase. Right then! The pitch is good enough to bat on. Not that bad at all. New Zealand will be aware of the inexperience India possess in the bowling line but should not take it lightly at all. They have to work hard to go in front in the series. Stay tuned for the chase.

New Zealand will feel they have let the game slip away a bit. A couple of partnerships have not helped them. First of all, they didn't start well, leaking many runs and not creating pressure. They bossed the middle phase but not for long as India repaired things up very quickly. Kane Williamson kept on shuffling his packs but only Lockie Ferguson stood out. He took three wickets and so did Tim Southee but he went for plenty of runs. 

Excellent recovery from India and a good finish help them get over the 300-mark. At one point, it looked difficult as the Kiwis had all control in the middle overs, India started really well with both openers notching a fifty, they gave a good start to carry on with the momentum but lost wickets in a flurry in the middle phase.
