Munro eventually fell for 104 off 53 balls in the last over of the innings after smashing three fours and 10 sixes. His previous two centuries came against Bangladesh and India when he scored 101 and 109* respectively. The ton against Bangladesh early last year also came at Mount Maunganui, while the century against India came to pass at Rajkot in November last year.
New Zealand lead the series 1-0 having won the first game. The second game of the three-match rubber had been washed out.
