London: Sir Elton John has sparked outrage by calling the Queen a “mean old bitch” during a sketch for US comedy show ‘Saturday Night Live’.
`The Queen’, played by Fred Armisen, made fun of the singer’s hit ‘Candle In The Wind’, which he sung at Princess Diana’s funeral in 1997.
“When I see that Candle In The Wind, I light my farts,” the Daily star quoted Armisen as saying at the show.
The 64-year-old John then called her a mean old bitch and dubbed her and Prince Philip, played by Bill Hader “freaks”.
The Queen and Philip broke into Cockney accents and told John: “Unlike you, we have not forgotten where we came from."
