Gemma Ward makes modelling comeback

Los Angeles: Australian model-turned-actress Gemma Ward made her modelling comeback at the Milan Fashion Week after seven-year hiatus.

The 26-year-old took to the catwalk for Prada's spring-summer 2015 show Thursday, reports suggest.

The supermodel, who was scouted when she was just 14-years-old and made her catwalk debut at 15 years, retired in 2007 and disappeared from the spotlight altogether in 2008 to deal with the loss of fellow Australian and Hollywood actor Heath Ledger.

She appeared in films including 'Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides' and 'The Great Gatsby' Since quitting modelling.
