Washington: The latest tidbit to come out from the Sony hack is the list of demands Marvel made to Sony when licensing 'Spider-Man' flick.
The emails show the "mandatory character traits" needed to cast the "proper" Spider-Man/Peter Parker, which include (but are not limited to): male, does not have sex before the age of 16, not a homosexual, Caucasian, E! Online reported.
However, it was mentioned that Spidey can be gay if "Marvel has portrayed that alter ego as a homosexual."
The interesting thing about all of this is that the contract went into effect in September 2011, shortly after a black-latino Spider-Man was introduced in the comic book world.
