Sofia Vergara `was terrified to act in Machete Kills`

Washington: Sofia Vergara has revealed that she was "terrified" of appearing in ` Machete Kills`, as it was very different from her other work.

The 41-year-old actress said that she wants to do different things, but liked the fact that the director Robert Rodriguez shoots fast and asked her if she was willing to do this, Contactmusic reported. The `Modern Family` star said that though she was scared she agreed to star in the movie. The comedy actress said that it was a role that is not like any other comedy or action character or assassin. She said that she always wanted to work with him because it was very new and different for her. Vergara added that she looks "really scary" when it comes to violent scenes. ANI
