When ‘Chikni Chameli’ incited bloodbath in a bar

Mumbai: Katrina Kaif’s sizzling hot number ‘Chikni Chameli’ has been responsible for triggering a fight between a person and a group of men in a bar in Dahisar, a Mumbai suburb. The fight got so brutal that gunshots were fired and people taken to the hospital. A leading daily broke the news of this untoward happening. Reportedly, a business man named Gupta requested a singer at the bar to sing ‘Chikni Chameli’ a number of times despite objections raised by the other customers. The man in question insisted on listening to the song over and over again and this annoyed the others around. The unpleasant incident started with a verbal spat and followed with the man and the others assaulting each other physically. The bar management was forced to intervene and had to pull them apart. Before leaving the bar, Gupta instigated the group by threatening them. And this is when the group lost control and indulged in a fist fight with Gupta again. Gupta then pulled out his revolver and shot them injuring two. The man was eventually arrested.
