Fatima Bhutto denies reports of Bollywood dreams

Pakistani author Fatima Bhutto has shot down rumours that she had turned down a role in a big-budget Bollywood film.

Dubai: Pakistani author Fatima Bhutto has shot down rumours that she had turned down a role in a big-budget Bollywood film.
The 31-year-old writer laughed and said that it was one of the funniest stories that she heard but it is patently and spectacularly untrue, the Gulf News reported.
Bhutto has made her debut as a novelist with `The Shadow of the Crescent Moon`, after having been a non-fiction writer. Published by Penguin, the novel is set in Mir Ali, a small town in the troubled tribal region of Waziristan, close to the Afghan border. She wanted the town, the epicenter of the story, to be a combination and reflection of a lot of real locations in Pakistan.
