All is well between screen divas Deepika and Chitrangada

Mumbai: Clearing all airs of conflict with her ‘Desi-Boyz’ co-actress Chitrangda Singh, Deepika Padukone said that she, in fact respects Chitrangada a lot. Media was replete with tales of skirmishes between the dimpled hottie and the dusky beauty on the sets of their soon to be released flick ‘Desi Boyz’, but it appears now that it was all but pure gossip! There was a buzz that the two divas were at loggerheads, apparently, because of a pink dress that they both wanted to wear. But considering the height and size differences between the two actresses, people on the sets were bemused over reports of them squabbling over an outfit. A source from the film`s dress department said, "Deepika is thinner and taller than Chitrangada. They could never fit into the same dress even if they wanted to." When asked about her differences with Chitrangada, Deepika said, "I have read those reports and it`s quite silly. It makes us look so immature. We`re not kids. She is my senior and I have a lot of respect for her. I admire her for carving a niche in offbeat cinema." Deepika added, "We have just one scene together and we spoke a lot on the day we shot it. Most of our conversation revolved around golf. Her husband Jyoti Randhawa is a world famous golfer and my sister Anisha, who is a golfer herself, admires Jyoti. She even showed me a picture of her son, who is adorable."
