Bollywood bids adieu to its wise old man AK Hangal
Popularly known as AK Hangal, Avtar Kishan made his debut in Hindi cinema at the age of 50 in Basu Bhattacharya`s ‘Teesri Kasam’ in 1966 and since then, played a number of memorable characters.

Popularly known as AK Hangal, Avtar Kishan made his debut in Hindi cinema at the age of 50 in Basu Bhattacharya`s ‘Teesri Kasam’ in 1966 and since then, played a number of memorable characters.
Hangal, who was admitted to the Asha Parekh hospital in Mumbai, almost a week back, had suffered fracture of the right thigh bone after he slipped in the bathroom and had been ailing for the past few years.
