Harvard University honors Amy Poehler with 2015 Hasty Pudding Award

Washington: Amy Poehler has received 2015 Hasty Pudding Award from the Hasty Pudding Theatricals at Harvard University, it has been revealed.

The 43-year-old expressed gratitude towards Hasty Pudding, for reminding her how hard it was to write funny jokes, People magazine reported.

When she was growing up in Burlington, Harvard University used to be a group of buildings they used to throw rocks at on their way to a real job and as she drove by and gave the middle finger to this place, she never knew that those guys would be giving her all this s---, the American actress further added.

Prior to the roast, where Poehler donned a Boston College (her alma mater) cap as she rapped and feigned a romantic encounter with a Kim Jong-un look alike, the 2015 Golden Globes co-host was paraded around the streets of Cambridge, Massachusetts, in a Bentley convertible.
