New Delhi: Coming close on the heels of the recent arrest of stand-up comedian Kiku Sharda over allegedly hurting the sentiments of the Dera Sacha Sauda, Gurmeet Ram Rahim has come forward to express his opinion on the whole matter on Wednesday.
The head of the group took to Twitter to share his thoughts on the matter, saying that if Kiku Sharda has apologized, then he has no complaint against him.
Kiku Sharda is well known for his performance as 'Palak' in popular show 'Comedy Nights with Kapil'. The actor and comedian landed himself in trouble after doing a performance which mimicked the Dera Sacha Sauda in the December 27, 2015 episode of the show.
Even after his custody, many political figures and Bollywood celebrities expressed their support for the actor. The actor himself was quick enough to furnish an apology saying that it was not his intention to hurt the sentiments of anyone.
