Know why Karan Johar wants people to watch ‘Hero’

Mumbai: Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty will soon make their big screen debut with - ‘Hero’ – jointly produced by Salman Khan and Subhash Ghai. And the industry has embraced the two newcomers wit utmost warmth and affection. Karan Johar is one such senior producer-director who has advocated people to watch the remake of namesake 1983 blockbuster starring Jackie Shroff and Meenakshi Sheshadri.

Johar, who is presently busy with his directorial venture ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ featuring Aishwarya Rai, Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma, took to Twitter to heap praise on Salman’s debut film as a producer. He tweeted:
