Narendra Modi nominates stars for 'Clean India Campaign'
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has flagged off a unique campaign to make a cleaner India. An active member of the social media, the PM called out the citizens to adopt a place of their choice and click a before-after picture of the area after cleaning it up.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has flagged off a unique campaign to make a cleaner India. An active member of the social media, the PM called out the citizens to adopt a place of their choice and click a before-after picture of the area after cleaning it up.
He posted on his official Facebook page:
He nominated quite a few well known figures including actors Kamal Haasan, Priyanka Chopra and Salman Khan. Also in the list were the actors from a popular TV show 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ulta Chashma'
Zee Media spoke to the lead actors from the show. Actor Dilip Joshi who plays Jethalal in the show, said that the TV team is planning a meeting to decide how to go about the campaign. He also added that this is a great initiative to change the face of the country.
Although Salman Khan has not replied yet to the Prime Minister's appeal, his friend Aamir, who was present at the launch event, has taken a pledge to support the initiative.
Actress Priyanka Chopra has already taken the challenge:
