Mumbai: This is the day his friends and well-wishers had been waiting for. Sanjay Dutt has been released from the Yerwada Jail in Pune Thursday morning. Sanjay, who is now a free man, served the remaining 42-month jail term after being held guilty by the Supreme Court of India for possessing an illegal weapon in connection with the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case.
