With the world all set to go zip, zap and zoom, we have Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan who could not keep himself aloof from the ongoing soccer mania. The King Khan recently took to micro-blogging site Twitter in order to express his excitement for the sport.

New Delhi: With the world all set to go zip, zap, zoom with FIFA World Cup 2014, we have Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan who can not keep himself aloof from the ongoing soccer mania. The King Khan recently took to micro-blogging site Twitter in order to express his excitement for the sporting event. The romantic star tweeted: “And on the most exciting note….I am completely over the moon with FIFA starting. TV glue ready!!!”. The 48-year-old actor is known in the industry circles for his love of the sport.

It has been widely reported that Shah Rukh during his school days was an avid sports person. He played almost all forms of the sport—hockey and football being his all time favourite. Interestingly, the actor already owns an IPL team, Kolkata Knight Riders. The team won this season`s IPL, taking their win tally to two. According to a report published, the actor had last year expressed his desire to promote a football club in the country. In fact, it`s not just SRK who is a sports enthusiast, but kids Aryan and Suhana too love the sport, reportedly. With Shah Rukh too glued to his TV set, as FIFA World Cup rolls, the game is surely going to get better!
