Three million Twitter followers for Alia Bhatt

New Delhi: She may just be three year old in the industry, but Alia Bhat has crossed the three million mark in the number of Twitter followers. The young star who hit the jackpot with 'Highway' 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya' and '2 States' this year has made her presence felt with her glam quotient as well as acting prowess. 

She took to the micro-blogging site to thank her fans for the same

The love and support she has found from world over is not surprising since the actress has also been quite open to criticism, often taking jokes about her with a pinch of salt and replying with as much gusto. She has participated in a lot of short films on YouTube supporting the cause of women empowerment and others.

She is set to appear opposite Shahid Kapoor in 'Shaandaar' soon.
