Tiger Shroff regrets making housewife comment?

New Delhi: Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff is facing backlash over the Internet for allegedly making 'sexist' comments. Recently, the 26-year-old actor reportedly said that he likes girls who are 'housewife-type'.

"I will get married to a girl from the village. When I reach home, I want a massage so that I can get relaxed. She should stay at home, keep the house clean and give me home-cooked food," he told rediff.com.

But, these comments caused a stir on the social media. People started accusing the 'Heropanti' star of sexism. And, this called for some desperate damage control measure from Tiger.

Finally, the man himself took to Twitter and said, “I am totally for women empowerment and equality and always talk about how they are as strong or stronger than men.”

He added, “I respect my mother and sister too much to say something like that. I know I'm barely a year old in the industry but for those who know me and who have accepted me you would know. Anyway love always.”
