Jennifer Lawrence`s family organises charity screening of new movie

Jennifer Lawrence has found big fans of `The Hunger Games: Catching Fire` in her family who are organising a charity screening of the popular movie just days before it opens in theatres.

Los Angeles: Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence has found big fans of `The Hunger Games: Catching Fire` in her family who are organising a charity screening of the popular movie just days before it opens in theatres.
The young star rose to global fame by playing Katniss Everdeen in the first film of the series, based on Suzanne Collins` novel. She returns as Everdeen in the sequel, which is slated to release in India on November 29.
Appearing on the TV show `Great Day Live`, Lawrence said that her family is set to organise a special screening of the second part of `The Hunger Games` series just days before the film opens in the US. The family holds a noble thought behind the screening. The money collected from this special show will benefit St Mary`s Centre, which offers day training for adults with intellectual disabilities. Jennifer Lawrence`s sister-in-law shared more information about this special screening and said, "It`s open to all those who want to donate. We are using the screening of the movie as a platform to raise money for St Mary`s Centre. We were introduced to St Mary`s Centre through a family friend and Andy (Jennifer Lawrence`s very close friend) too will be going there. So it?s very close to our hearts. That`s how Jennifer said that she wanted to do this." Lawrence`s mother says that this is her way of giving back.
