New Delhi: The Orlando Bloom-starrer ‘Three Musketeers’ is set to hit Indian theatres Oct 14.
Based on Alexandre Dumas classic novel of the same name, the film is shot in state-of-the-art 3D format and stars Logan Lerman, Milla Jovovich, Orlando Bloom and Christoph Waltz, among others. ‘Three Musketeers’ talk about Porthos, Athos and Aramis who served the king of France as his best musketeers. After discovering an evil conspiracy to overthrow the king, the musketeers come across a young, aspiring hero, D’Artagnan, and take him under their wing. Together, the four embark on a dangerous mission to foil the plot that not only threatens the Crown, but the future of Europe itself. In 1993, director Stephen Herek had also made a film called ‘Three Musketeers,’ which stared Charlie Sheen, Kiefer Sutherland and Chris O`Donnell. IANS
