After Big B, Madhuri- Rekha to follow suit?

Mumbai: From Amitabh Bachchan to Shah Rukh Khan to Madhuri Dixit, all have made a foray into television. So why B-town’s orginal Diva Rekha should be left behind? News has it that Rekha is close to being finalised as a celebrity judge for dance reality show ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa’. The show, which has already finalised Madhuri Dixit as one of the judges, is keen on having Rekha on board. According to industry sources, the recluse actress was initially reluctant to do the show, but now she is showing interest. If all goes well, then she will be finalised by next week. Speaking to a daily, a source revealed, "We had to really pursue Rekha, and she has finally agreed to be a part of the show. Things are almost finalised and we are looking forward to having her sign the contract soon. We are keeping our fingers crossed, as her presence will really boost the show. Stand-up comedian Krushna Abhishek and Kavita Kaushik aka Chandramukhi Chautala are likely to host the show." This is not the first time that Rekha has been offered a TV show. She was earlier approached for reality shows and even a serial, but the actress had politely declined all the offers. Perhaps this time it’s her love for dance that is making her say a ‘Yes’. Or maybe the offer made by the channel is too good to resist. Either way, it would be a treat to watch the gorgeous star on small screen every week!
