Chhote Nawab to host culinary show on TV?

Mumbai: The second season of reality cookery show ‘Masterchef’ is set to get a new host. Saif Ali Khan has been approached to present the second season of the show replacing Akshay Kumar. Akki might not be able to don the cap of `Master Chef` this seaon owing to a very busy 2011 schedule. Saif is being considered ideal to anchor the show as the actor is known for his taste of good life. A channel’s close source said, "The channel feels that Saif has it in him. As he hails from a family of nawabs, good food has been a part and parcel of his life. And Akshay`s busy calendar this year, does not leave him with time for the show." Further adding the source said, "With more and more B-Town stars doing television shows, the channel is roping in Saif. They feel he, too, should try his hand at the small screen." Apparently, things are in the initials stages and only after the star gives a nod from his end, a formal announcement will be made.
