Julia Garner to join 'The Americans'

Los Angeles: 'The Sin City: A Dame to Kill' actress Julia Garner is set to join spy drama 'The Americans'. Set during the Cold War period in the 1980s, 'The Americans' is the story of Elizabeth (Keri Russell) and Philip Jennings (Matthew Rhys), two Soviet KGB officers posing as an American married couple living in the northern Virginia suburbs of Washington, DC.

Garner will play Kimberly Breland, a young woman who unexpectedly and dangerously crosses paths with the Jennings. 'The Americans', which also co-stars Noah Emmerich and Annet Mahendru, will return with its third season in January 2015.
