Mumbai: Television actor Karan Patel has entered ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6’ as one of the wild card entries and praises the dance reality show for allowing people to do things that they never did before.
"I have been seeing `Jhalak...` and have been seeing the level of performances. It makes you push your limits and do things that you haven`t done before," Karan told reporters.
"It feels brilliant to be on `Jhalak...`, but it is a lot of hard work. You have (judges) Madhuri Dixit, Karan Johar and Remo D`Souza... I feel lucky to be here," added the actor who is learning something new everyday.
"There were things that I thought I could never even attempt and I am doing them," he said.
Sana Saeed, Mukti Mohan and Mantra have also joined the dance reality as wild card entries and they are vying for the top title along with Shaan, Sonali-Sumant, Siddharth Shukla, Lauren Gottlieb, Karanvir Vohra, and Drashti Dhami.
Seen in shows like ‘Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii’ and ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’, Karan wants to continue doing television.
"The basic narration has to excite me. That is when I decide to take it up. You have to think out of the box. At the same time, you need to see what the audience wants to see," he said.
