New Delhi: Model-turned actress Aarti Chhabria has emerged the winner of the fourth season of `Fear Factor-Khatron Ke Khiladi` after weeks of gruelling tasks involving underwater stunts, fighting off creepy crawlies and jumping off dangerous heights.
Aarti and her partner Dhaval Thakur succeeded over singer Mauli Dave and Dhiraj, after facing two risky stunts on the grand finale, aired on Colors Saturday. Model Diandra Soares and her partner Arhan were the other finalists, but lost the first stunt.
Aarti made her debut in Bollywood with `Tumse Achcha Kaun Hai` (2002) and later featured in films like `Awara Paagal Deewana` and `Shootout At Lokhandwala` amongst others.
The 28-year-old not only walked away with the title of being the `Khiladi`, but has also been chosen as the `Thums Up Thunder Star`, where she will get an opportunity to feature with Akshay in the new campaign. Her partner Dhaval won a Scorpio car.
The finale involved a stunt where the male contestant had to drive the car and the female contestant was controlling the vehicle`s momentum.
In the second stunt, the female contestant was tied up in a bus which was set on fire and the male contestant had to unlock her and set her free. He also had to reach for the `Thums Up` bottle which was tied up at three feet above the ground and whichever team did it fast, won the show.
The show, hosted by Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar and shot in South Africa, started with 13 female celebrities. Models like Diandra, Alesia Raut and Poonam Pandey, actresses Aarti, Smita Bansal and Aashka Goradia, item girls Sambhavna Seth and Kashmera Shah, two VJs - Bani and Mia Uyeda, singer Mauli Dave and Dina Singh who is actor Vindu Dara Singh`s wife and Anjum Chopra, the former captain of the Indian women`s cricket team, were a part of this season.
`Khatron Ke Khiladi` is the Indian version of "Fear Factor", where contestants undergo daredevil stunts to get over their fears and win the show.
