Mumbai: After mythological show “Mahabharat”, actor Nirbhay Wadhwa is all set to enter historical drama “Bharat Ka Veer Putra Maharana Pratap”.

Nirbhay polished his Urdu skills to play the character of a warrior named Hatim Khan with conviction and said that he "thoroughly researched about Hatim so that I fit into the character well."

"I have also worked on the Urdu language. It was difficult for me initially but the will and excitement to play the character and do justice to it made it easier for me,” the actor said in a statement.

Sharing some insight about his character, he said Hatim was chased by both Maharana Pratap and Akbar to be a part of their army.

"But Hatim chose to join hands with him rather than Akbar.”

The show chronicles life of Rajput ruler Maharana Pratap and narrates tales of his valour. Nirbhay's entry is expected to add more drama to the show.
