Abhay Deol, Diana Penty's 'Happy Bhag Jayegi' to have a sequel? – Details inside

New Delhi: There were very few comedies in the year 2016 that managed to charm Bollywood fans with humour and wit. Mudassar Aziz's 'Happy Bhag Jayegi' was one of them. The movie not only showcased the hilarious story of a runaway bride but also laid emphasis on the adorable Indo-Pak relationship.

Keeping this in mind, the viewers are now expecting a sequel to the flick. So, will they be getting one? Here's what the director has to say:

"We do plan to make a sequel of 'Happy Bhag Jayegi'. The discussions are on how to take the story forward. Anand sir (producer Anand L Rai), too, thinks a sequel can be made...He has given a positive feedback to this idea," he told PTI. 

Mudassar added, “till the time we are convinced about the story, we will not make the film.”
