Mumbai: Actor Ayushmann Khurana is aghast at rumours that he's no longer a part of "Udta Punjab" because Kareena Kapoor, who has joined the cast, didn't want to share screen space with him. He says he couldn't do the movie due to date hassles.
"It was getting difficult for me to work in all the films together and this is the only reason that I didn't do that project. Besides, I'm open to multi-starrer films," said the "Vicky Donor" star.
Directed by Abhishek Chaubey, "Udta Punjab" features Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, apart from Kareena.
Meanwhile, Ayushmann is also busy penning a book with his wife Tahira.
"My wife is a writer. She and I will be writing a book together soon. I can't reveal the subject of the book right now," he said.
