Box-Office battle: Shah Rukh Khan vs Ben Affleck?

New Delhi: It's time for a big clash between Hollywood and Bollywood. Come Diwali and it will be Ben Affleck's `Gone Girl` vs Shah Rukh Khan's `Happy New Year`.
Both the big-banner films are slated to release on Diwali weekend, which happens to be on October 24 this year.  

Directed by David Fincher, `Gone Girl` is based on the best-selling novel by Gillian Flynn. The movie has an ensemble cast of Rosamund Pike, Neil Patrick Harris, Tyler Perry, and Carrie Coon.

On the other hand, `Happy New Year` is touted to be one of the biggest films of 2014, featuring Deepika Padukone, Vivaan Shah, Boman Irani, Abhishek Bachchan and Sonu Sood besides SRK.

It would be interesting to see how both the big films are received by the fans. `Gone Girl` was released in the US on October 3, 2014.
