The movie is adapted from Steve Earle's novel 'I'll Never Get Out of This World Alive' which is titled after the last song released by the late musician before he died, reported Ace Showbiz.

The film follows Toby ‘Doc’ Ebersole who's haunted by Williams' ghost following his involvement in the country singer's mysterious death in 1953.

Hemsworth, 31, will also serve as a producer along with Laura Bickford. Benjamin Grayson who served as Kenneth Branagh's assistant in 'Thor' and John Lee Hancock's assistant in 'Saving Mr Banks' wrote the script and will make his directorial debut with the movie.
