New Delhi: Ajay Devgn's much appreciated thriller drama 'Drishyam' rakes in a whopping Rs 64.17 crores.

Helmed by Nishikant Kamat, the movie stars Tabu and Shriya Saran, along with Ajay.

Released on July 31, 'Drishyam', the official remake of the eponymous Malayalam film, earned an opening weekend collection of Rs.30.03 crore.

Leading trade analyst, Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to release the Week 2 Box Office collections of the movie.

He posted: ''#Drishyam [Week 2] Fri 2.75 cr, Sat 4.05 cr, Sun 5.04 cr, Mon 1.60 cr, Tue 1.65 cr, Wed 1.50 cr, Thu 1.30 cr. Total: ₹ 64.17 cr. India biz.''

The story of 'Drishyam' revolves around cable TV operator Vijay Salgaonkar (Ajay), whose life revolves around cinema and his family; wife Nandini (Shriya) and daughters Anju and Anu. Tabu plays the role of police IG Meera Deshmukh in the film.
