I rehearsed 40 times for Super Bowl: Katy Perry

Los Angeles: Singer Katy Perry says she prepared for one whole month, with 40 rehearsals, for her Super Bowl performance.

Perry, 30, took to stage at the inaugural ceremony of the Super Bowl XLIX on February 1.

The singer said the experience of performing at the prestigious football championship was 'thrilling'.

"I was able to prepare for a whole month. I did it over 40 times before I actually performed," she told Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet before the 57th Grammy Awards.
