Rihanna set for Grammys duet with Coldplay

Los Angeles: R&B star Rihanna`s longtime dream of performing with Coldplay has come true, as the singer will team up with the British band on stage at the Grammys next month.

Coldplay frontman Chris Martin invited the `Umbrella` hitmaker to appear on the group`s most recent album, Mylo Xyloto, to sing vocals on their Princess of China track, reported MTV online Rihanna heaped praise on Martin`s songwriting skills after the studio session, and insisted she was desperate to perform live with the rockers. They have now arranged a date to team up - at the Grammys on 12 February 12. In a post on her Twitter page, Rihanna writes, "My friends Coldplay and I will be sharing the stage for a performance at this year`s Annual Grammy Awards!" The pop star has also been nominated for four awards at the event. PTI
