Mumbai: While some actresses choose to shy away from the two-piece, others want to experiment with it to get their hot quotient rising. With Katrina signing a ‘No-Bikini’ clause with Yash Raj Films for ‘Dhoom 3’, there are some B-Town beauties who have no such qualms. They believe, if you have it flaunt it!
Actress Sonam Kapoor wants to wear a bikini but has weight woes. As reported by a daily, she says, she has absolutely no inhibitions in wearing one. "I have worn angrakhas, salwar-kameez, bandana, jeans, skirts, gunjee - whatever it takes. If the character I play is on the beach - the correct gear would have to be a bikini. And then I wear it in real life, too," she squeals away naughtily. But the only problem is her figure, she says. "I want to wear a bikini but currently my figure doesn`t permit me to do so."
Sonam plays a role of a seductress in her upcoming film, ‘Players’. She will be seen putting bold acts together, but the screen will be set on fire sans a bikini shoot by her this time!
Many actresses have worn the sensual swimsuit in their films grab attention. Many have won accolades on their bold attempt and added sex appeal on screen too. Katrina Kaif kick started her career as a bikini babe in ‘Boom’.
Bong beauty Deepika Padukone, Lara Dutta and Jiah Khan all three wore bikini for Sajid Khan’s ‘Houseful’, this definitely added more audience anticipation to the film. Latest to be seen in the swimsuit was actress Kangna Ranaut in ‘Rascals’.
‘Band Bajaa Baaraat’ girl Anushka Sharma will be the next to scorch the screen in a bikini with her act in Yashraj Film`s (YRF) Ladies v/s Ricky Bahl. YRF had got Esha Deol and Bipasha Basu to flaunt bikinis in ‘Dhoom’ and ‘Dhoom 2’ respectively.
