Chennai: Actress Tulasi says she doesn't mind taking up roles of a mother on screen as long as she has a crucial contribution to make to a film's story. In fact, she's also okay playing mother to any hero or heroine.
In the recent past, Tulasi has played a mother in Tamil films such as 'Eesan', 'Aadhalal Kadhal Seiveer' and 'Pandiya Naadu'.
She is currently looking forward to the re-release of 1980 Telugu classic 'Sankarabharanam', which has been digitally restored. She made her cinematic debut in the film as a 10-year-old boy.
"Anything I say about this film will not do complete justice to it. That film changed my life forever. I still can't remember how many times I got felicitated for my performance. I owe my career to filmmaker K. Vishwanath," she said.
Tulasi has about half a dozen films in her kitty such as 'Aambala' and 'Zeroa'. She will also be seen playing Shruti Haasan's mother in a Telugu film soon.
