Rashid Khan (4-0-18-1) is up for a quick chat. He says the wicket was good to bowl on and they needed to hit the right areas, it was very important and they adjusted really well. Shares that he doesn't think much, he tries to keep it simple and hit the perfect line and length and pile the pressure. Tells that he brought his length back because he was not generating enough turn. Mentions that they tried to take this as a simple game. Says it was his first time playing in front of the crowd and h
For Gujarat, the key for them was picking wickets at regular intervals. They got used to the conditions quickly and hit the right lines and lengths. Pandya was the stand out bowler as he picked three important wickets. The skipper rose to the occasion. Rashid too did a really good job, dominated the middle phase and took a wicket in the process. It was a combined effort from everyone but have to say those two were the standout.
Now the total is a small one. Gujarat should back themselves to chase this down and do so quite easily. They have chased brilliantly so far but can they do it on the big stage? Rajasthan won't make it easy, they have defended well so it is all to play for now. Stay tuned as the chase is coming up shortly.Â
Mohammad Shami to Riyan Parag, ! TIMBER! What a delivery to end the innings! The previous one was served wide but Shami targets this one around off, too full. Parag tries to squeeze it out but misses and the ball shatters the off stump. Rajasthan end at 130//9.Â
It was Rajasthan though who got off to a good start as their top three had laid the foundation for a score of above 150. However, once Samson fell, it was a procession. They kept losing wickets one after the other and just could not recover. A few of their batters got off to starts but none went on to make it big and that is what cost them. Rajasthan have ended with a score well below par.
End of an excellent bowling display from Gujarat and they will feel, one part of the job is done! Outstanding captaincy from Pandya, he was brilliant with his changes and the field placements and his side responded well.
Mohammad Shami to Riyan Parag, A wide yorker, outside off. Parag fails to jam it out.Â

Sai Kishore to Ravichandran Ashwin, ! IN THE AIR AND TAKEN! Miller takes it. He doesn't drop any! It is getting tougher and tougher for Rajasthan to even think about 140 from here on! Kishore tosses it up, slower and around off. Ashwin puts his skates on and comes down the track to go downtown but fails to time it well and only gets elevation on it. It goes to long on where David Miller holds onto it.Â

Hardik Pandya to Shimron Hetmyer, ! CAUGHT AND BOWLED! The dangerous Hetmyer falls and just as the momentum seemed to be shifting, Pandya strikes. Now 140 looks far away. Hetmyer was the one Rajasthan were depending on for them to finish well. Pandya, the skipper is leading from the front here. 3 for him. Shorter and on the pads, Hetmyer closes the face of the bat early, this goes off the leading edge back to Pandya who takes it. He is ecstatic.Â

Rajasthan, after the first-ever edition, have made it to the finals for the first time. It was under the late great Shane Warne they won their first Indian T20 League title and now Sanju
