I am prone to seizures: Lil Wayne

Los Angeles: Rapper Lil Wayne, who was recently hospitalised after suffering three life-threatening seizures in a row, has revealed that he is epileptic and "prone to seizures".

According to media reports, the 30-year-old was near death following his latest health scare episode, reported E! Online. "This wasn`t my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh...I have had a bunch of seizures, you just never hear about them," Wayne told Power 106`s DJ Felli Fel, Tunechi in an interview. Wayne said the latest hospitalisation was a result of stress. "My heart rate went down to 30 per cent. I have people around me who know how to handle it. This time was real bad because I had three back to back and the third one was so bad. Confirming his complete fitness, Wayne said the reason for seizures are stress and inadequate rest. "It was plain stress and no rest. That`s just typical me. I will never stop, like I`m runnin` from the cops." Soon after being discharged from the hospital, Wayne announced that he was teaming up with fellow hip-hop star T I for the follow-up to his `America`s Most Wanted Tour` which will begin on July 5. PTI
