Paris Hilton’s boyfriend `arrested` for assault

New York: Paris Hilton’s boyfriend River Viiperi was reportedly arrested for battery as he was not happy about the socialite allegedly “making out” with another girl at a nightclub in Las Vegas early Monday morning.

According to TMZ.com, a male clubgoer told the Las Vegas Police Dept. that his girlfriend kissed Hilton inside XS nightclub at the Encore hotel. According to reports, Viiperi, a 21-year-old male model, got so upset by the kissing incident that he punched the male patron in the face, injuring him so badly that he needed medical attention, the New York Daily News reported. The victim told the hotel security that he wanted to press charges against Viiperi. When the police arrived to the scene, Viiperi was arrested for misdemeanour and battery but was cited and released without ever going to the police station. Hilton left the scene by the time authorities arrived and was not accused of any wrongdoing. Cops have said that the matter is currently under investigation. ANI
