Mumbai: After wearing greasepaint for her film roles, actress Mugdha Godse is now playing with colours on canvas to take her vision forward.
"I have been painting for almost a year now. Before that I did not know what to do, but now life has steadied and yes, painting is a good way to take my thoughts and creativity forward," said Mugdha.
"Acting and dancing are the arts we are always involved in, but painting is something new I am trying my hand at," the 26-year-old told reporters here Monday at the inauguration of Shyam Kishore Mishra`s art and painting exhibition.
The actress, who had a sizeable role in Madhur Bhandarkar`s "Fashion", is playing a cameo in "Heroine". She says working with Kareena Kapoor was more important for her than the size of the role.
" `Heroine,` yes, I am doing a cameo and I am happy that I am a part of a good film. Madhurji(Bhandarkar) is a good director and I like working with him. Kareena is one of my favourite actresses, I got to share screen space with her."
"It`s nice but I can`t tell you anything about the character, you go and watch the film," she added.
Mugdha was last seen in "Will You Marry Me" and is currently working in "Afra Tafri" and "Oh God! Saare Hain Fraud".
