Mumbai: The popular show on TV, ‘Love 2 Hate You’ that brings celebs face to face with their hater has gained immense popularity for its rareness. The recent celebrity to feature on this show was none other than Abhishek Bachchan.
His hater apparently found him clichéd and repetitive in all the roles he has done so far, from ‘Dhoom’, ‘Sarkar’, ‘Sarkar Raj’ to ‘Paa’.
As reported by a daily, the hater said, "I slept through ‘Guru’. There was that same expression of grumpy-sulky boy."
But Abhishek had something convincing to say in his defense. He said, "Most of these movies were superhits, so you are definitely the minority here.
But I believe that if even one person is unhappy with my work, I should work towards rectifying myself. I beg to disagree with you; I wasn`t a grumpy person in the film.”
The hater expressed that he gets lost in his roles and doesn’t justify the breaks he has got in the industry.
But AB clarified, "I am sitting on the show because of who I am. I wouldn`t have gotten a break in the industry had I not been Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan`s son.
There was a lot of excitement in the industry about me becoming an actor and I thought it would be easy because I was Amitabh Bachchan`s son. But the directors I approached told me that they didn`t want to take the responsibility of launching me."
To convince his hater Abhishek put his best argument forward and later even composed a little song for her and sang it on Arjun Rampal’s show.
In the end he remarked, "She (his hater) has given me a reason to work harder."
Abhishek Bachchan will be next seen in his forthcoming film, ‘Players’ slated to release on January 6.
